When I was twelve I started a blog, it was called pinkerpeachshimmer because I was obsessed with Elle Fowler at the time and she got her name. AllThatGlitters21, from a MAC eyeshadow. I only owned one MAC at the time (and the only MAC item I will EVER own) so I became pinkerpeachshimmer.

Listen, I'm not gonna say it was revolutionary because it definitely wasn't. I thought I wanted to talk about makeup because that's what EVERYONE else was talking about but, I really wasn't interested in that. I got really really into film when I was thirteen and I started writing film reviews. I had two moleskin's filled cover to cover with film reviews, none of them were good but I loved doing it so much. I decided to change my blog and start posting my film reviews on there and that became my obsession for a while.

Then, a website called 'letterboxd' came into existence and I became oBSESSED with it (still am honestly.) It was so much better than having a blog because I could make lists, everything was sleek and organized, I just loved it so much more and it caused a lot less work for me to manually put in every photo and director and actor.

My blog then went unused and forgotten about for a couple years. I then when I was about fifteen or sixteen I wanna say, started a'series'I guess you would call it where I read eachchapter from the 'Fifty Shades' series and wrote reactions on it. That was the hardest I'd worked on something in a long time, I posted every single day for over two months, each chapter from each book and it honestly got pretty successful (in my opinion). Each post by the time I was finished was getting 600+ views, which is a LOT to me. Obviously now on the internet if you don't have millions of subscribers/views then you're not considered "successful" which is bullshit but whatever.

After that I kind of fell off the face of the earth to everyone except my parents, I deleted all my social media, including the blog. (That's a long story I won't get into but maybe one day.) But, I don't know, I woke up this morning and decided to make a blog because why the frick not? This time around though I don't want to put myself in a box with what I can publish, films, fashion, books, music, life, a post about my dog, I'll post whatever the frick I'm feeling and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.
